Global Citizen, Speaker and Media Expert

With over 21 years of experience in international communications, brand development, and entertainment management, Kem Anyanwu is a mission-driven leader dedicated to changing systems, creating opportunities, and making a global impact. Through her agency, Kemystery, she works with creative visionaries to redefine industries and bridge the gap between commerce and culture.

Kem is the co-founder of The Making of Black Britain alongside Diane Louise Jordan. The newly launched digital oral history archive, available on Google Arts & Culture, captures 75 years of British history through the voices of its people.

Originally from Leeds, England, Kem’s career began at The New York Film Academy, where she studied acting before transitioning from talent to talent management. Now, she reshapes how businesses approach branding and talent, questioning where sales end and the truth begins.

Kemystery, originally based in Los Angeles, has expanded its reach to serve clients in the UK and Nigeria, becoming the first premium Western management agency for screenwriters and directors in Lagos.

Beyond her professional work, Kem is a servant leader, global citizen, and ordained minister. She is a Patron of Black Britain & Beyond, a culture and heritage think tank, and co-founder of Little Voices Los Angeles, an empowering music initiative for children in foster care.

Kem is also an experienced speaker, host, and panelist, offering insights on communications and branding for individuals and corporations alike. She has worked with organizations across the UK, US, and Africa, including Google Cloud America, Boston University, Owerri Business Week, and The African International Film Festival (AFRIFF).

Kem is also the founder of Matthew 10 Mandate, an initiative providing media and branding support for African SMEs and startups—one logo at a time.
